About

Luke Elder is a solo artist based in East Preston, West Sussex. He started off as a guitarist, having his first lesson shortly after his 7th birthday. Whilst at college he developed a passion for singing. He went on to study music at university where he graduated with a first class degree in music Performance.

Luke now provides entertainment across Sussex. His unique approach of using backing tracks with a mixture of acoustic/electric guitar creates the sound of a full band.

He specialises in Britpop, Rock, Pop and ska, however he has a huge repertoire of songs ranging all the way from the 1950's to the modern day.

Services

Pub Gigs

Luke Elder takes bookings from pubs and local venues for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, however he is available to book during the week subject to availability.

He plays a mixture of different genres, and is able to read the room as well as take requests. He also occasionally plays original material.

He covers a range of artists such as:

- Oasis

- The Jam

- Squeeze

- The Beatles

- David Bowie

- The Stray Cats

- The Clash

And many More...

This package is priced at £200. Included in this package is 2 X 45 minute sets with a short break in between. Background music will also be played during the break.

Private Functions

Luke Elder is available for private functions, whether that be a birthday party, or a corporate event.

He can provide a range of entertainment including:

- Acoustic sets

- Backing track sets with a mixture of acoustic/electric guitar

- Karaoke

This can be personally tailored to your needs by selecting songs from his repertoire.

Lighting and smoke machines are also available upon request.

Wedding Entertainment

Luke Elder is now taking bookings for weddings from 2026 onwards.

The wedding package is personalised to your needs, to make sure you have the perfect day to remember.

He can provide music during the ceremony with acoustic guitar and vocals, and evening entertainment with electric guitar, backing tracks and lighting.

The evening entertainment consists of 2 X 1 hour sets, customisable by selecting songs from the repertoire, however, if there is a song that is not available on the list please feel free to request it in advance.
